The online community of designers and web developers have been a huge help to me and continue to be. There are so many resources to turn to. When I was first learning how to build a website I was referred to w3schools.com by a friend. What a blessing that site has been to me. A List Apart, Kuler, and 99designs are great resources as well.

I have started to compile a list of these resources on Pinterest. I would encourage you to check it out. I am not going to try to include all the forums which I have turned to so often. It is sufficient to say that forums are a great resource and that I am thankful for them. Here is the list to date:

  1. 24ways.org
  2. underconsideration.com/speakup
  3. www.webmonkey.com
  4. 99designs.com/designer-blog
  5. w3schools.com
  6. siteinspire.com
  7. colorschemedesigner.com
  8. css3.info
  9. alistapart.com
  10. html5doctor.com
  11. new.myfonts.com
  12. kuler.adobe.com
  13. thinkvitamin.com
  14. thegridsystem.org
  15. davidfstewart.ca/create

What are some more resources we can add to the list?
