I want to share a game I designed for the May–June 2025 Bi-Monthly 24-Hour Design Challenge on BoardGameGeek. The challenge was to make a game in just 24 hours based on the prompt “Green.”
My submission is called Flag Finish. It is a rummy-style race that combines sequence-building with a fast, racing twist. It’s a card game for 2–3 players, ages 7+.
Think of it as a card race: you’re building your sequence while keeping an eye on your opponents. Every move counts, and the faster you go, the better — but watch out for the cards you leave behind!
Flag Finish was built around the “Green means Go” theme. The first green card signals the start of the race, and everything else flows from that simple idea. I wanted the game to feel fast, tense, and fun, with just enough strategy to make every race exciting.
Grab a friend, shuffle the deck, and start your engines! Flag Finish is quick, fun, and full of surprises — every card could change who crosses the finish line first.
